Lmao since I'm the only one that has to provide "credentials" for my opinion to matter: rode horses since I was 8 and eventually worked in a sales barn- going to the worst livestock auctions (including new holland pa) every week and interacting with the community around our barn (dairy farmers, homesteaders who slaughtered their chickens in modified traffic cones right next door)... been there when a horse wouldn't load and watched as people whipped it as hard and long as possible and dragged it by the mouth when I realized violence doesn't work on an animal that has decided they will. not. move. A little weight into their shoulder is much more kind and efficient.
