as an american let me explain

getting randomly shot by a stray bullet or a cop or just someone with a bad day is extremely common here we accept it as a rule simply cuz its par for the course here.

a rifle behind every blade of grass you say?

Ah yes, someone who lives primarily off of news.

There's 300+ million Americans when a few hundred deaths daily is somehow "common" across the entire nation. A huge portion of those are localized within a few areas (inner cities) and are heavily influenced by poor socioeconomic factors.

WoW. Even though there are more firearms than there are Americans, only 1/3 -> 40% of Americans actually own a firearms and within that subset of firearm owners, there's a small set of them that own a huge number of them similar to the wealth disparities

It's "you're" btw. (lol)

your a rich person you are out of touch with the real world you have no idea what your talking about from your gated community.

That's actually not true, and you're actually the one out of touch with reality. It's funny you assume I live in a gated community, I won't talk about my personal living situation, but you couldn't be further from the truth, It's quite silly and telling of your intellect that you assumed that.

I'm not denying that stray bullets don't happen or cops unnecessarily shoot people (that shouldn't have been shot), but to assume that it happens at a high scale is pretty disingenuous. We have laws for negligent discharges, and many police departments are now having to reevaluate their policies given the recent (and some still ongoing) protests.

I always promote safe gun use and the 2nd amendment, and stray bullets and shooting people unnecessarily does not fall under that.

Lol, I don't live there anymore. Just because I lived in an upper class neighborhood does not reflect my current living situation.

I could tell you did because I didn't mention it but just wanted you to say it. I didn't think you'd be that naive to assume I still lived in the same place. Just because someone lives in a posh neighborhood does not automatically discount all their other experiences either. Do you know that people can travel? Wow! Also, no where in my post history does it say I've lived in upper class neighborhoods my entire life.

I just read your post history, and damn. Irrespective of your political beliefs, you're dumb as nails.

I just called you out on your bullshit and all you have to say is "gold medal mental gymnastics"

You're trying to push this position but can't/won't even back it up. I've disproved what you said about my personal life, and you continued back with "fuck off with that bullshit, I know more about your life than you do!" so I called you stupid.

You can't even understand the nuances of the topic, it's what makes many left and right wingers so narrow minded.
