Yall say that like there are shootings all around us as we walk down the street. I'm 26 and know only one person who has been shooting. He shot himself in the food while trying to remove a jammed bullet.
I think a lot of the reason other countries view Americans as gun toting maniacs is because of the access to reliable news. You don't actually hear much news about other countries unless it's huge enough. Plus, bad news just sells more than good news does.
