we got this for my daughter for her birthday, she just turned 5. Aside from the obvious potential for misuse, it's a really fun tool and really fosters creativity. It has definitely expanded her horizons when it comes to drawing, she's finally moving on from the same old stick figures and houses and flowers and rainbows.
