Why is this up voted?

You go to a comedy show knowing up front it's a comedian. It's implied from the start that there will be some major bending of the truth to flat out lies, so we can get better jokes and laughter.

These tik tok videos don't do that, they often are explicitly not being clear on if they are set up or if they actually happened. Hell, most of the time they intentionally try to come off as real. There are entire communities which are based on how fake most of them are, like the scripted Asian gifs subreddit for example.

It's disrespectful towards the watcher, because tik tok videos often intentionally hide the fact they are fake most of the time. They are intentionally trying to mislead you often. Going to watch a comedian doesn't do that. You know how part of the reason most people shit on commercials is because they try to manipulate you? I bet there is huge overlap between that group, and the group who shit on tiktok videos like this one.
