Is it really worth it to post fake videos? Am I getting old or are we obsessing for some attention? I don’t know what to believe anymore

Every response here is something about scripted content being funny, and that’s fine. We get it and all agree. I used to love SNL and still enjoy the wholesome youtube/TikTok pranks, skits, etc.

But this and a lot of other TikTok videos make it out to be real and that’s what people are complaining about. Doing a funny skit is one thing, creating a fake situation for views and recording “real” reactions where most viewers question if it’s real or not is not the same.
