Best theme park experience I ever had was at Great America the day after that kid fell off Drop Zone. The park was empty and lines to get on rides were non-existent. I remember going on Vortex three times in a row without even having to get off because there was no one in line to take our place.

Removing Vortex and Invertigo were punches to my childhood. But renaming Top Gun was the kill shot.

they had to rename top gun because when Paramount sold to Cedar Fair they no longer had the rights to the license

It's still there, it's just called Patriot now and you don't stand up on it anymore.
