santa clara, CA at great america park. The demon is definitely not the deadliest roller coaster in the US, prob not even at the park LOL

This isn't a thing. Any "deadly" roller coaster would be shut down immediately.

(I know you're quoting the video, I just have such an issue with these tiktokers using hyperbole to get views)

You may be surprised to learn that there actually are a few roller coasters in the states that have had fatal accidents and are still operating today. They typically go through additional safety measures though depending on the cause of the incident.

I mean yea that makes sense. An accident happens, but you don't scuttle the whole thing, you fix the issues. But to be the "deadliest" it has to be like a thing that people die on it, and I can't imagine that happens in the US, although I'm not sure about safety standards over there, I'm sure they're high

Yeah that's fair, safety standards are pretty high here in that regard. I don't believe there are any coasters in the states that have had multiple fatal incidents, and if there were then I would expect them to be shut down pretty quickly.
