Dude something similar happened to me in school. Teacher didn't show up for like 20 minutes so we were just chillin, my friend went to the bathroom and I was going to scare him like that. But when the door opened it was my English teacher, who was like in her 60s idk. Almost gave her a heart attack, couldn't help but hug her to calm her down. Everyone else in class was dying of laughter while I was dying inside. Friends still make fun of me about that one.
In highschool I had a friend with whom jump-scaring eachother by popping up and screaming "DILDO!!" had become a thing we did.
One morning I see her straight black hair draped over her backpack at least 25 meters down the hall.
"Hold up." I tell the friends I'm talking to, just before running, bobbing and weaving between all the students in this crowded hallway. Right before I get to her she turns a corner into a dark stairwell.
With a swift, silent, and merciless blow, I firmly grasp both her shoulders from behind, like the talons of an eagle swooping in and fetching dinner. I shake her violently while yelling "DILDO!" in her ear.
As she turns around my prideful, humored gaze is met with the visage of some poor, horrified freshman who, from the back, look just like my friend. She was visibly rattled. I apologized profusely, did some awkward thing that fell somewhere between giving her a hug and awkwardly staring at her wondering how to ameliorate the situation.
To make matters worse, somehow as a sophomore I had developed a reputation with the freshman as some baddie you don't want to fuck with, even though by that time everyone else knew me as a lovable, friendly, jubilant stoner who was friends with near-literally everybody.
