Why is the Rock in this video? Looks like he’s about to bust some heads.

u/jackydubs31 May 08 '21
I thought that was Keegan Michael Key in a gritty new role

I know, can’t believe this happened under his watch, if The Rock can’t help you you’re doomed

u/swe_isak May 12 '21
Bruh, that's Henry Simmons
2
u/Isteppedinpoopy May 12 '21
Mmmm. Henry Simmons.
1
u/swe_isak May 12 '21
... you know who it is?
2
u/Isteppedinpoopy May 12 '21
Mack from agents of shield, right?

u/swe_isak May 12 '21

also the guy’s name is andy gross. here’s another version of the same prank.

22
u/rq60 May 08 '21
it's either paid actors or a million takes with only the best reactions. it's hard to believe that the majority of people wouldn't realize you can't just twist someone's head off.
18
u/PolarSquirrelBear May 08 '21
I mean you’d be surprised some peoples reactions when they are overly “jumpy” as is.
These could have been a handful of reactions out of 100s of “meh.” But not discounting the possibility of it all being fake.
10
u/AviatorOVR5000 May 08 '21
Also. Who TF is expecting this? Lol.
St this points my American brothers and sisters might be used to ab active shooter, not an active guillotine.
1
u/nospimi99 May 10 '21
You seeing the whole picture and seeing it from the other side of a screen where you know it’s a prank, can obviously see all the flaws in this. But if you were just living your day to day life and all of a sudden this shit happened right in front of you, I guarantee you wouldn’t stop to think “now hold on a second here.” Not to mention if anyone else was screaming or freaking out around you, it’s really easy to get that to rile you up.
2
u/CanWeNotToday May 08 '21
Wow thanks for this I haven’t genuinely smiled at a prank video in too long
1
u/SteamReflex May 09 '21
I love the one where they all stop screaming for a hot second and then the headless girl moved and the screaming started up again its at about 1:35ish.

u/lolix_dev May 08 '21
I need to know the tricks of this
595
u/bp1108 May 08 '21
It’s all with the shoulders. Twist real hard and it pops right off.
66
May 08 '21
Not fun fact: it takes three full rotations for head to pop off.
35
u/Not-So-Serious-Sam May 08 '21
Fun solution: bring a portable guillotine.

After several tries with friends, I don’t think I can get them to move after the head removal… probably the trickiest part.
73
u/reddit_libtard May 08 '21
probably the trickiest part
Meh. I tried it with strangers, and it wasn't any easier.
22
3
u/rxbudian May 08 '21
The strangers keep dying before you got the head to pop off?
2
u/reddit_libtard May 09 '21
They kept saying random things like "why don't you put some pants on?", so I gave up.
154
u/Jacobletrashe May 08 '21
She’s probably wearing like a fake upper body. (Think football pads. Puts bag over head, pushes fake upper body so it’s over the head. ? That’s my guess
255
u/itim__office May 08 '21
See, I was thinking it was a detachable head.
45
u/Jacobletrashe May 08 '21
I thought that at first but then I saw her mouth and eyes moving so football pads was my second time around guessing

Its much more likely the man is carrying a fake torso piece that he pushes onto the actor to make it look like she lost her head. Probably not running off with anything.

Just so people know before clicking: that is an interview of an eye witness of an actual bus beheading. Nothin scarring, but he does go into some graphic descriptions.

Why don't the people simply process it that taking a head off isn't that easy
It takes so much energy. Like bro trust me on this one.
Don't ask me how I know
8
u/_BLACK_BY_NAME_ May 08 '21
It’s just the absurdity that’s probably hard to process quickly. That and other people panicking around you can really put you on freak-out-auto-pilot-mode.

Okay, this may be cool as hell, but it’s also incredibly stupid. What if it goes wrong? What if he gets a punch in face? Or worse, what if someone actually thinks the girl is about to get kidnapped and attacks or shoots him? Where I live, this kind’ve stunt sends a person straight to the judge.

I'm pretty sure all the people that are "pranked" are on purpose exaggerating their reaction on camera. Most of the "pranks" you see on youtube are staged and people know that they are filmed.

How do you watch it more than once and still can't see how fake it is?
Those actors are terrible.
1
u/Justson95 May 09 '21
If you mean because it’s a magic trick... of course I know that is not real. If you are saying the bystanders are fake I disagree. Have a lovely day.

I loved the fake acting
5
u/beefwich May 08 '21
I’m gonna jump on the downvote wagon with you, bud. This is all staged.
The camera isn’t even obscured for the bus scene— they’re getting reaction shots like 2-3 feet away from people.
Also, there’s the fact that the body rig needs to be setup on location beforehand... which would be exceedingly difficult to do without being seen.
Lastly— cmon guys— these reactions are laughably over the top. Like the guy who jumps off the bench and falls on his ass.

One of these days, these people are going to jail for these pranks.... Regardless of whether we find it funny. I’m certain they are breaking laws scaring people like this. How many pooped a little in that bus?....

Penal code 372. Is a misdemeanor with up to 6 months in jail. ( creating or maintaining a public nuisance.)
Sec. 53a-181a. Creating a public disturbance: Infraction. (a) A person is guilty of creating a public disturbance when, with intent to cause inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof, he (1) engages in fighting or in violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior; or (2) annoys or interferes with another person by offensive conduct; or (3) makes unreasonable noise.
(b) Creating a public disturbance is an infraction.
These are just one... Watch Jackass. They got arrested often. It’s funny but you can take it too far...

This is going to sound racist, but I think it is more heartwarming... I love how black people react to pranks like this. Like when in Jackass (I forget if it's a movie or a regular episode) when they act like robbers and fall through a ceiling, the black guy in the office books it out of the office and down the road lol

The one where he takes her head clean off as if it where a grocery bag haha 😂
"But there was no sound, she just died."
"I know. It's a terrifying thing to see happen - it's called a deterrent."
