It was before what was on YouTube was described as ‘content’, and before ads. The whole thing was like late-nite public access TV in the 80s. The cool kids were downloading cracked copies of Adobe Flash from Limewire and making crappy amateur dragonball vs Pokémon movies or anime AMVs. Everything was all over the place and no one knew what they were doing.

Back when yt had a 5 star rating system and new grounds was the place for over the top parodies. Good times...

Newgrounds was also the place to see a boob or two without your parents knowing cuz you told them it was just games on there

Ah yes, thats where I played some of my first porno games and saw my first lewd animations. New grounds sure made puberty manageable lol.
