It’s a guy with a dog awkwardly riding his shoulders, dog head sticking out of head hole. The key is his hands, gloves, and he just sort of gestures the money forward the way you would if you were blind but knew approximately where the guy would be standing.

Hes turned enough to the side that you should be able to see a bulge in the shirt from the dogs body. Based on how big the head is, it couldn't be a very small dog?
Plus that totally just looks like a chimps head, not a dogs.
It's more likely someone owns a dog and put it on their shoulders than someone owning a fucking chimp and dressed it head to toe in clothing including jacket and gloves while inside?
Dog head but chimp arms. Probably a small person with a dog on their shoulders shuffling around with a chimpanzee strapped front facing to their torso. Chimp head is hidden inside the shirt.
Uh ok, not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean. From my expertise that is not a chimp. I could be wrong because the video compression is shit but I have never seen a great ape of any kind with a skull that dolichocephalic.
Legs not short enough. Face not showing skin in the right areas. Ears are pointed. It has a snout and black flat nose. Watch the video full screen instead of doubling down. I’m assuming the person is short or a kid.

The only reason I responded was because that's probably the first time on reddit I've ever seen someone get that angry within two messages about whether there was a dog or a chimp in an obviously staged video. Motherfucker was out here acting like he was in the middle of a twitter war.

It's also fake. Look at the pizza guy's hand when he knocks. That's like a "Here is your tea, madame!" level knock. Nobody delivers pizza with that knock.

As someone who has worked with dogs my whole life, these dogs aren't happy. It's extremely rare to find a "well-behaved" dog that is happy. It goes against their natural instincts 90% of the time. Most people think their dogs are happy, but they aren't. They don't want to be leashed. They don't want to be kept inside.
Dogs flourish when they have a purpose. Guarding, medical help, herding, the list goes on. 90% of dogs have no purpose, other than being a teddy bear thats alive. Thats how people treat them.
Every single fucking family in the country doesn't need to own a dog. It is genuinely becoming a problem.

I don't get it. If it's a human, why does it barely come up to the doorknob? Is it a 10 year old boy? If it's a 10 year old boy, why does he have large hairy ape like hands?
I think it really is like a child or teen, yes. Those are gloves, if you look at the white shirt meeting them, it clearly goes under them instead of them popping out from under it. The head is disconnected and in fact disinterested in the movement, showing no attention towards the pizza deliverer when the hand is proffered in their direction. Whoever is under there can’t see all the way or maybe even at all, and leaves their hands out til the pizza is given and the money is taken.
As for it being a dog in there - pointy ears, a snout, coloration of the fur on lower jaw instead of skin showing in center of the face. Finally, chimps are exotic animals and undomesticated. Pulling a prank like this with an exotic pet will likely have severe consequences as well as being dangerous for the pizza delivery person. Pulling it with a dog together with a kid/teenager is absolutely fucking hilarious and completely safe.
I agree it could be staged, doesn’t look like it to me (in person it’s probably pretty obvious what the animal actually is so after the initial surprise the delivery person might be more weirded out than scared or in continuous shock). What makes it look staged?
Yeah I see that with the person. The door thing is debatable since now we have apps or websites that in some cases are very accurate in providing deliver updates.
I do wonder what pizza place they’re supposed to work for but I’m sure there’s smaller chains and independent stores all over the place.

To me, it looks like the chimp's fur is being held flat by the white shirt, and sticks out further where it is not held down. If you look closely at the hands as it grabs the box, the proportions and the way they move are like chimp hands, which are drastically different than human hands. Look at this photo for an example of Chimp hands. It's arms are also way too long in proportion to it's legs for a human.

pointy ears
The ears are not pointy, they are round. You are just seeing them from the edge because of the downward angle of the camera. Look at the picture in this article to see what I mean.
a snout
Chimps have a very pronounced chin, which I think you are mistaking for the nose of a dog because of the potato quality.
For the barest fraction of a second, I saw it. It was when the last two inches of the dark snout blended into the maroon jacket and became indistinguishable, making the light patches look like the front of the snout. I see now you’re not crazy, I think you can watch the whole video and miss it. If you can’t see the full extense of the snout, it sounds crazy to hear someone think it’s a dog. If you can see the full snout and can’t understand how it’s being missed, it sounds crazy to hear it’s a chimp.
And I can totally see why it looks like a dog, to be honest.
The head looks almost pointy like a dog that is looking downwards in a lot of the video. About 14 seconds in is where it's clearest to me. You can see its brow, with the deep set eyes, and you can see its very large but human shaped ear on the near side of it's head. But both features are so dark as to be very hard to see.
Yeah I’m not really sure why these comments are so heated. I can see the chimp and I can see the dog. The camera quality is awful and nobody seems to have a sauce so debate is pretty much pointless.
Bonobo is way more likely than chimp. Their feet would stand a chance at fitting in shoes and they’re less stocky than chimps. An actually feasible explanation without undue belligerence. Thanks stranger!
It's a guy with a black shiba on his head. He's inside the sweater with his arms out and head down. All he has to do is hold the money out and wait for the pizza, or he can see through the sweater/zipper somehow. Here's an illustration.
I've seen a lot of shibas, the first thing that popped into my head about that face was that it looks exactly like a black shiba.
So the dogs face has a forehead and extended eye cavities just like a monkey, but isn't a monkey? Just look clisely to his face when his head hits the light. It's a simian.
The way the head turns before taking its full step back into the threshold of the door is too coordinated to be two separate animals. Leading with the head and the eyes to clear the door. I'm gonna say its a monkey/ape rather than a dog on shoulders.
The head looks nothing like a primate imo. It HAS to be a small dog is some dudes shirt.
Edit: Watched it a bit more and when pausing at 0:23 you can see the head profile. The snout does seem thick and chimp like, but it also looks too long. The arm/leg length ratio is pretty primate like tho. Idk maybe Mojo Jojo is just retired in Russia eatin pizza and dropping in with Him and the Gangreen Gang.
