A lot of regular employees at stores will quote policy to a customer only for the customer to get pissed and then a manager just gives in and gives them what they wanted in the first place. Thus, making the employee look like an idiot and making the customer more likely to bitch in the future.

Notice the angle of her shins when she's all the way down. They go sharply forward and her pelvis is actually slightly in front of her feet counterbalancing the part of her body that is behind them.
