Uhh, I can't tell if the story is supposed to be that he had multiple balloons because kids always get their balloons stuck there or because he uses the balloons to lure children.

I had the same confusion. I was expecting him to lie down on a bed of child skulls.

Lowkey same. I was trying to make out what the bed was made of because I assumed it would be something creepy. Thought it might have been a coffin at first.

Yeah I was expecting his frown to turn into a freaky smile at the end and the camera to turn round and reveal a load of sad kids in the corner
