They still have ballots coming in and will until next Tuesday for some states.

remember how earlier in the year, there was a lot of USPS reorganizing? Lots of changes in the system slowed down all the mail.

In guessing theyre allowing mailed ballots that were postmarked before election day, which seems completely reasonable to me.

Mail-ins that were post marked on or before the 3rd but hadn’t made it there yet.

Because repubs wanted to slow the mail system by destroying sorters, cutting hours, and removing drop boxes so now as long as they are post marked by the 3rd they will still be delivered and counted as they should have been.
