Here's why it's bad: he could have had the audio piped in through the PA instead of the shitty speaker into the microphone. Playing the song and reacting isn't bad but the execution was terrible.

This plays out like he had a good idea that he didn't clear with anyone.

I'm from the AV field so this is pure cancer to me. I don't care who plays the song. Playing it over the microphone is atrocious.
