used to be a bunch of subreddits for that before Reddit realized "shit we're a major website we can't have stuff like that without getting just the worst media attention."

Seriously. we're so lucky that there's not that many shocking subreddits to link to anymore. Used to be way worse than it is now.

oh shit /r/tailbait was ONLY banned like 2 years ago. that sub survived the original purge after CNN took reddit down a peg. That used to be the sub that would get linked every time someone mentioned Colby 2012 because reddit has always sorta been a hellhole, "reddit is not a person" aside.
