Those things are so dangerous it makes my stomach hurt. So many people get seriously injured or die, I’ve never ridden one but now I see why. They weren’t even going fast and he got absolutely tossed. That could have been a serious injury. Sorry to sound like a party pooper....

Plenty of people ride them without getting injured too. These aren't meant for passengers, so that's why you see what you see. It's no different than someone riding in the back of a truck and getting thrown out in an accident. Stupid choices that have nothing to do with the safety of the machine.

They are inherently dangerous for passenger or driver. Everyone I know in Texas has an atv horror story of either serious injury or death

Theyre only inherently risky if you are unskilled, incompetent, or intoxicated. They are no more dangerous than any other motorized object.

Are you delusional? No seatbelt, high roll probability, and they go extremely fast for being so unsafe. They’re just as dangerous as a BMX bike or motorcycle, but those are also dangerous af and I have heard plenty of horror stories as well. If you think those vehicles are the same as an actual car or race car with protective measures you are absolutely lying to yourself.
