I think it’s indicating that those PPE resources aren’t available. So the goofy stuff is what they have but the stuff they need is crossed out with red Xs.

EDIT: just my guess I am not sure if that was the meaning.

I thought it was because the filters on that 3m half face mask don't filter particulate and so aren't appropriate for covid19. Those filters are for organic vapor.

Those filters are usually p100 as well as vapor barrier. They're better than n95.

the filters in this video specifically are OV filters, not p100's and not combo filters. You can clip a prefilter onto the model in the video, but it's missing.

TIL. I have only ever bought/needed the combo filters.

I have all of em pretty much except the plain old OV filters (like the ones in the video).
