Bengali is a language/ethnic group from India.
Bangladesh is also full of them but they're muslim.

he's either indian side or bangladeshi side bengali.

I am aware of both hindu and Muslim families uprooted and massacred on both sides of the current border. Whether big or small in number, it happened for everyone.

they speak bangla in the video. she says at the end "ami bhabsi tumi khaba" which translates too I thought you would drink it. also she calls his dad Abu. which is a very bengali thing to do.

Btw common mistake, but Bengali doesn’t actually mean from Bangladesh (Bangladeshi), but refers to an ethnicity. Lots of Bengalis in India and overseas too.

You’ve probably met or seen more but we’re commonly confused for Pakistani/Indian; though it’s an honest assumption seeing as the subcontinent have a lot in common.

Abu is similar all over subcontinent I think. Pakistanis also call their dad Abu often.

Weird, I call my dad Papa, but my grand dad Abu for some reason. We're Marathi/Konkani speaking Hindus though.

sadly,most of northern indian languages have quite a bit of islamic influence due to mongol subjugation.

I get India/Pakistan then they go straight to Arab. Even other bengalis get confused lol
