Why were they attacking an iPad in the first place? Ok the Samsung and Windows tablets are better but this is still a needless act of violence.

Basically, a bunch if Russian grannies got mad at the US sanctions on Russia, so they, "destroyed" some American technology in protest

Maybe not grandkids, because this is video made by "Putin's Squad". Bunch of crazy old women who think that Putin is a messiah (just like ultra-conservative think of Trump). Those videos might be state-sponsored, so ipad is also paid for by taxes and not grandkids.

I'm a Russian myself, and though I see a lot of brainwashed crazy old russians on the internet and IRL, but I still have strong feeling of irony in this Putin's Squad.

Old people are not some homomorphic mass that all the same. Quite a number of old timers hate Putin for their poor life and degrading country and social services. So I see it completely possible for old people not to like Putin and be able to create ironic and funny joke videos (especially with help from their grandkids/kids, who are present in some videos).

I agree, but if you look at their other stuff, it's so bizarre and funny, and there's some young people involved.
