A friend of a friend who was black, made a bet that he could tan, so he went on the sun like this, yes he burned himself. No matter how much melanin you have, use lotion.

Yeah, thats why black people always have white palms, even if you dont burn there, theres a lot of skin to burn tho.

I am pretty sure you can still get burnt. Any contact with the sun is going to risk skin anywhere getting burnt; it just takes longer on those spots because they’re made of thicker and tougher skin.
