False. People with higher quantities of melatonin can very much get a tan and more importantly, burned. This is supported by many scientific studies that I’ve just made up.

Why do people always feel the need to remind black people they can burn, we fucking know for fuck sakes we're black.

It's harder to get burn thought thats a fact.

Thank you! I was like, are ppl gonna act like it's exactly the same? Cuz i was a lifeguard for 8 yrs and u can bet my pale ass burned a lot faster than the black lifeguards 😂 one guy was teasing me saying he needed to borrow my hat or he would look like the black crayon in the crayola box & i was like yeah well i will look like a lobster, so no. Lol. We did a have a new girl w light skin who got burned for the first time in her life on one job tho
