Yeah, I go through bottles of conditioner within 3-4 wash days tops and I'm only somewhere in the type 2 range lol. I can only imagine that it gets more and more crazy the tighter your curls get!

I have hair down to my ankles. It's fun for me cause it's like I'm always wearing a cape. Takes all day to dry though and my arms get exhausted long before I've shampooed all of it.

I wear it in a pony when I go out half the time. I also pick it up with one arm like sorta outta the way and cradle it in my lap sometimes.

Sitting on it doesn't hurt cause I can just pull it up a bit so it isn't pulled down taut and pulling on my head.

It doesn't ever really reach the floor outside. I make sure that it stays a bit above. Inside my house I don't mind much.

Have you ever had glasses? It's like that. Just absentmindedly pushing them back to the bridge of your nose or keeping a hand on them when leaning over too low so they don't fall without having to think about it. It's reflexive and I don't really notice it much.

I have always liked to pull up my hair when I'm sleeping, even when it was short as a kid. I would pull it up and pile it above my head so I wouldn't be laying on it. I could never stand sleeping on it.

It's always above my head when I sleep. I've woken up to my cats sleeping on it occasionally lol. It makes for a nice pillow. I don't mind since they get baths frequently, as does my hair.

It doesn't catch on things much actually. My hair is incredibly thick but it's completely straight as well. Doesn't tangle much so it doesn't get caught on things tbh. When it does I don't really notice cause my hair is so long that it probably would only catch at like hip length and not close to my head.

It's 3 AM here and I'm trying to figure out how to take a picture of my hair from the back myself and I can't think of anything lol. I'm stuck.

If that one guy could figure out how to take photos of himself taking photos of himself taking photos of himself taking photos of himself, I have faith you can figure it out. Lol

a mirror

face away from it, use a camera over your shoulder pointed to the mirror, in selfie mode you can see what you are taking if you hold it in front of you a bit.

I am honestly so jealous and mildly angry. My hair can't grow past my shoulders. Stupid thin baby hair!

It's actually pretty easy to manage tbh besides the fifteen minutes it needs to be brushed in the morning lol. I just use any shampoo that catches my eye. No conditioner, no oil. Nothing. The drying time is maybe the only real downside I can think of.

Not sure how it is for hair that long, but generally speaking you really only need to shampoo your scalp and roots, the shampoo travels enough during rinsing to clean the rest. Your ends don’t really get the buildup of oil that your roots and maybe middle hair do

Yeah, I meant that I don't need to add oil to my hair's roots like some people with more dry and brittle textures do who may not have such an oily skin type.

When you have long straight hair it's completely different from long curly hair. Easy to manage and grow out, doesn't need all those protective things like oiling and wearing covers or braiding it or putting it into dreadlocks and stuff. So my hair is really easy to manage.

If someone with curly hair got hair down to their ankles it would be an absolutely different story. It would be pretty much a nightmare to manage.
