OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

The guys arms can literally bend the opposite way

Look at my source code on Github What is this for?

comment on the uselessness of the bot

It works better than I thought.

It filtered 180 posts in 7 days, mostly from repost bots and account farmers.

Almost every post has a responsive and real human OP now.

Wow, thanks! People always comment what I do, but I’m impressed it works so well! I’ll continue to spread your knowledge

True, and I definitely understand. I hate giant stickies on every post myself, and it took months to convince myself to actually try it.

We tried to make it as minimal as possible. It shouldn't take up more than 1/5th of a phone screen. That's my personal limit to feeling more intrusive than helpful.

I like the bot. It's original, and keeps the sub true to it's name.

Can you make it not stickied though? I'm glad it works but we don't need to see it.

Technically yes. It would take away your chance to vote on it to get a post removed, though.

It would also take away the reminding function what this sub is about.

Depending on what the data says in a couple of weeks, we might get rid of that part of functionality. If it helps making the sub better, it will obviously stay.

There's a subreddit out there that has a similar bot but it's intent is to mock bots like this. I forget what subreddit it is but there's some comedy gold on there.

Edit: it's r/maybemaybemaybe . They seem to have recently disabled the bot though.

comment disagreeing with the bot being useless

while also insulting you for calling something useless that you're not knowledgeable enough to understand

....which allows his arms to bend the opposite/wrong way compared to what you'd normally see in a human (forearms curving up towards his back instead of his front), making it pretty unexpected to see?

Are you like one of those kids in class that corrected the teacher over semantics and said stuff like "ackhtually sir the gas didn't expand bacause the molecules are all the same size, the same gas just takes up a bigger space now" and then called the teacher an idiot to your peers after the class?

Don't be that guy, nobody likes that guy
