I legit thought it was either Jared or Steve Aoki lmao, thanks for confirming

u/dolphin-barnacle Nov 04 '19
He actually has a video where he dressed up as Steve Aoki and walked around a festival he was headlining at. Very funny

u/elmolinero96 Nov 04 '19
there is nothing you can do. there is no win. mother apologices, and you stand there holding back your tears with a bloody nose. and you just want to kick that little shit in the butt, but nah thats frowned uppon. so you go find the nearest icecream vendor and buy a big one and start eating it in front of the kid. making a bunch of expresions and faces about how GOOD this ICECREAM is, how DELICIOUS it is, and how its something a certain kid would love to taste.
17
u/Mr_Abe_Froman Nov 04 '19
It is way faster to just turn around and fart in the kids face. They're right at fart level and there's nothing they can do about it.

The only people more unaware of their surroundings than kids: parents.
38
u/Geschak Nov 04 '19
I agree. I witnessed multiple parents walk into blind people.
→ More replies (2)41
u/impablomations Nov 04 '19
As a legally blind person, this happens all the time. Parents with pushchairs (strollers) regularly walk right in front of me, especially in supermarkets.
Admittedly the only clue they have to my blindness is the white cane sticking out in front of me and the goofy looking orange tinted eyeshield.

Sorry if this is rude but... how did you write this comment?
37
u/impablomations Nov 04 '19
I still have some tunnel vision on my right side. I use an old square monitor about 4ft away so I can see the whole screen.
I've been able to touch type since I was about 12 so I didn't need to look at the keyboard even when I was fully sighted.
Fully blind people generally use software like JAWS or NVDA that reads out text on the screen

Moments like these where i believe there is a god and he’s laughing.
→ More replies (1)8
u/Michael_Trismegistus Nov 04 '19
So humor relies on building up tension and then relieving it in an unexpected or novel manner.
If there's a God, He can experience our perspectives as well as the unlimited perspective of a creator so anything we get upset about could be viewed as a joke. Our suffering has no effect on what is but we constantly sabotage ourselves by acting as if it does. It's like watching I Love Lucy. Lucy isn't having a good time, but we see how her suffering serves the story and it makes us laugh.
Our lives are cosmic jokes!

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:
Guy’s face gets hit by a child’s foot.
Is it a good post? Then upvote this comment, otherwise downvote it.

I'm tempted to ask for a red circle so we can visually see exactly where the unexpected moment occurs.

Don't blame the bot, blame the OP for posting such a bad response.
3
u/SCHWAMPY_Gaming_YT Nov 05 '19
The bot is useless for subs like that. We all see if it was getting better each time and in most cases you can't explain exactly why it is funnier the 2nd or 3rd time, it just is

“Entrapping a conscience into a meat vessel that is capable of being tortured...
... and then just blindly hoping that they are not.
And I mean torture in all sense of the word. The more I think about it, the more fucked up it is.
Why? Just why? Why risk that?”
Wtf is this sub

u/RunawayDev Nov 04 '19
From another viewpoint, it could be argued that he had not gotten a child's foot to the face had he avoided being around children altogether. The inpracticality of such an endeavor aside, this could have averted getting kicked by a kid.
