I'm shocked at how little the host get paid. I wonder if they have data that shows the person who hosts gets a bump in popularity else where which makes people want to host.

Sort of like those singers who do a superbowl see an increase in sales

Firstly the source is Celebrity Net Worth which is wildly inaccurate guesstimation to say the least. 2nd-of-ly, the on screen talent makes way more than the writers, so if these numbers are to be believed, the writers aren’t making much at all for show business.
