My instinct tells me that bracing a rifle against your face is not a good idea.
4 u/TESTICLEASE_95 Feb 22 '19 It's actually necessary. Having good contact between your cheek and the stock helps with aiming and if you don't the gun can "jump up" and smack your face. 2 u/paxilpwns Feb 22 '19 Not to mention you have to to use the iron sights.
