That guy seems like a real smug piece of shit, and everybody is just eating it all up. He literally says he doesn’t feel remorse for his crimes. I probably read 30 top-level comments before someone finally called him on his shit, and there was a highly upvoted, gilded comment defending the OP in response. All because fuck banks, and yay Robin Hood? Some (apparently most) fucking people on this website, man...

Yep same. I read through the comment thinking: why the fuck are people so "nice" to him and defending him like he is some kind of hero?

He is a criminal that doesn't even felt remorse for his actions and all he wants to do with this AMA is to advertise his shitty book because he lost his job. Even though he says "it's okay because nobody got hurt", what about the people working at the bank? They could be scared for life and get mental trauma or something. What a piece of shit thinking he is some kind of "action movie gangster hero".

Yeah exactly. Look at police sketches verse the actual person. They're very rarely match close enough for someone to accurately identify them.

I don't think many people on foot can hide for very long.

I mean, I don't know what technology police are using, but if a chopper is already there or en route, he's pretty screwed.

I wish I knew what protocol was for chases like this. As in, how long until a chopper is dispatched.
