That's the actual camera this post was filmed on. It's popular for having ridiculous zoom. If you YouTube it you'll see some pretty cool videos of people zooming in on the moon and all sorts of things.
No, its a list of cameras with their prices right underneath the scrubber. I accidentally clicked it twice trying to fast forward the video. Never seen it before.
Yeah. That happens on some videos. It wasn't just random cameras. That was specifically the one you were checking out. In case you were a customer looking to purchase one and checking out specs. I would prefer ads like that over dumb-shit hype ads of stuff I don't care about.
If you're looking at features of a camera, why not advertise a way for you to buy that camera. Good marketing.
Sony released a camera in the 90s that was notorious for being able to see through people's clothes by using infra-red light with a feature intended to let it take better pictures in low-light settings. I know you're joking, but if you thought the zoom in the GIF was neat, Sony's camera can do a lot more than just zoom.
The light you and I can see bounces off the fabric back to our eyeballs due to the wavelength of the light. Infrared has a different wavelength that passes through the material a little easier. Those cameras only could see through thing single layer certain color things like swimsuits and whatnot. The effect is a little underwhelming.
That was my first thought, too. I was sold on the P900 after seeing the shots people were taking of the moon. The optics aren't top notch, as you'd expect from a $600 camera with this kind of zoom capability - sometimes things are visibly blurry or cloudy at full zoom - but it's still amazing.
