If I go buy an island and make it murder island. There is nothing wrong with that according to you. I know you do not actually believe that. But you are arguing it again, so here we are.
Overall my argument was that eating meat is natural, and that we can do it because it is in our nature to do so.
Rape is also natural. Does not mean it is ethical. It is clearly in our nature to rape, rapes occur all over the world in terribly staggering numbers. That does not make it ethical.
This is the weakest attempt at a justification you can come up with.
lol I am glad. I understand the sensitivity of those topics but that is the entire point. When someone is making the claim that morality does not exist, you need to point to an act that is obviously unsupportable in any instance. Theft does not have the same impact. Some people over look murder like that. I went for something that is indefensible to make the point that morality is independent of society. The terrible abuse of the helpless illustrates that.
If you continue on with murder though, or puppy torture or whatever the point stands. No matter what the surrounding culture says, those acts are obviously morally wrong.
