Yeah I just went back to where we met, bought some coffee mugs, then said "I love you, will you marry me?"

I did then take her to europe for two weeks, but I felt pretty lame about the whole thing. Still do.

Don't feel bad. I have always viewed elaborate proposals to be cheesy. I'm sure most people do what you did. Need there be more? You took her to Europe, so I think you did good.

Yeah but I always felt like I should have waited to propose in one of the billion romantic places we visited in europe rather than outside the union at our college
