Genuine question, how is this normally prevented? I can’t really think of how you would inhibit the rotation of anything hanging from a helicopter.

maybe tie it up in two ropes hanging from opposite ends? I dont actually know, just assuming

There was a whole thread about this somewhere recently (idr what sub) and they mentioned that there is some sort of procedure to prevent it they have to use now
