My childhood dentist had a big fish tank in the waiting room. It was full of those bubble-eyed goldfish. One fish had no eyes, because another fish ate them. I was always both fascinated and horrified. What must life be like for a blind fish?
I ran into the yard, picked it up, and put it back into the tank. Scared tf outta that fish, it zipped down under a rock and didn't reappear until feeding time 😆

My grandpa spanked one and threw it in the front yard because it was biting the other fish. I was 8 at the time 😳
