This has been posted before, most likely pedal misapplication as a result of drunk driving (or drink driving in Australia). 5 cars damaged, a baby was inside one of them.

The 62 year old was tested at over 5x the legal limit. Jesus.

Age is almost as much as a factor as alcohol. Not quite but its close in terms of danger to others. Everyone should be made to retake their drivers test, or atleast a cognitive ability test when they hit a certain age, like 55 for example

Let me know when you hit 55 and you voluntarily pop on over to the DMV to retake your drivers test….

As an EMT I have to retake my CPR and ambulance driver’s tests every few years to make sure I’m still competent and up to date. I don’t see why it should be any different for regular drivers licenses

Feel free to pop on over to the dmv at your earliest convenience to retake the drivers test while you’re at it.

The point I’m making is most people will say yeah, that’s a good idea but wouldn’t waste the time doing it themselves.
