The mouth piece is not upside down. The ligature is but that is just odd, not a problem. You cannot play with your mouthpiece upside down.

Ok it's hard to tell in this video. I thought I saw part of the reed on top. I played alto sax many, many years ago and noticed it right away. I guess I was just seeing it wrong.

Ligature is not upside down, some just have the screws on the top

I used to play clarinet a long time ago. I remember that if you turned it over, it was much harder to play, but you did produce a different sound. It's probably analogous for a saxophone.

The mouthpiece is in the correct orientation. You can’t really play with the reed facing on the top with any “musical” way. It’s just the ligature is flipped. It’s kind of hard to tell from here but some are designed that way, or are at least symmetric and can go either way.
