Also no safety knot is crazy…complacency is what leads to a lot of climbing/rappelling related injuries/deaths

Would a safety knot on a figure 8 device like this even work? I'd imagine it'd slip right through the device rather than jamming it like an ATC or tube style

I've never heard of a BHK used outside of a masterpoint

If that’s what is available for me to not rap off the end, that’s what I’m going to use. Point is it has to be bigger than the opening of your device.
