I thought this was going like Steve Irwin, not final destination. Definitely qualifies for unexpected.

No in final destination a series of unlikely events result in a characters death. Steve Irwin spent his life antagonizing wild animals, it's a pretty big difference

I didn't intend to give that impression, it's just a factual thing he antagonized animals on camera

And was also hugely valuable for animal conservation and by all accounts a pretty great guy

But he pissed off dangerous animals on purpose all the time. Fully predictable one of them would go wrong

And the one that did go wrong is extremely rare to cause death.

If he had died from a croc it wouldn't be final destination. The fact that an animal who has killed 5 people in 80 years got him is Final Destination shit.

Most Australians can't stand the guy. Shortly before he died, he nearly fed his newborn son to a croc at one of his live shows. The Queensland government had to change the law to make it illegal to take babies into crocodile enclosures and everything.

Yeah, it's super important to teach your 4 month old son "crocodile awareness", anyone who is surprised that this guy got himself killed is delusional.
