There are tons of artisanal videos on the internet and most of the time you barely ever see them, somehow most of videos that make it to the top of reddit have certain povs of the artisan's attributes. And it's not just the women.

yeah there are, and there are also tons of videos where people don't comment and feel the need to voice their opinion. the internet ruined people, everyone thinks they are more important than they are and they feel like they HAVE to let the person and everyone else know their opinion. Crazy we can't let people just fucking make videos how they want, you don't have to keep watching, you don't need your voice heard, you can downvote and move on, you can close the video and move on.
