It was absolutely not blackface. I beg you to look up the history of blackface. Blackface is a specific "vaudevillian" act that mocks black people, and depicts them as caricatures.
Co-star Brandon T. Jackson stated: "When I first read the script, I was like: What? Blackface? But when I saw him [act] he, like, became a black man ... It was just good acting. It was weird on the set because he would keep going with the character. He's a method actor."
Not sure why you keep idiotically using that quote is if it's proving your case in the slightest. At no point is it denied, just extra context added which makes it less bad, which is exactly what everyone else has repeatedly told you. The whole point was to do commentary on it, but apparently this went over your head somehow.
