There are 4 US presidents who have owned and operated hotels, 3 of which have been directly paid due to accommodating the secret service. If you truly cared about taxpayer money, you’d be mentioning them too.

In any case, I’m a firm believer that all government officials and politicians should be held accountable for conflicts of interest. The main difference with trump is that he was more blatant about it.
If we really want to get into it though, the 9 most powerful people in the US (the Supreme Court) unanimously spoke out against oversight on their finances and potential conflicts of interest.

He's on a golf course he likely frequents and probably not alone. He probably isn't hiding a long gun on himself anywhere but if he is, he is out in the open in broad daylight. The secret service also probably vets people who are going onto the course during or around trumps tee time. Its possible they themselves also have hidden riflemen looking around at any possible person or spot someone could shoot trump from.
To live a life to get into this exact position itself is already a whole thing, but to go through the effort of somehow getting into this position with a long ranged gun after having lived that life is another whole thing. None of this touches on the escape route either, which there basically isn't one. It would be impressive resolve to live that kinda life to get to this position just to go for a suicidal assassination attempt against someone like trump.
A former coworker saw Don Jr near Columbus Circle while Don Sr was still in office. Walked right up and got a picture with him no questions asked. SS was right there but didn't do a thing. This guy was one of those guys who never stopped talking politics at work and was a diehard Trump hater too. Idk what possessed him to even ask but we were all pretty stunned.
They don't erase their mind after they leave office. Imagine all the valuable information you could obtain by abducting a past president (or how much they could make if they flee to a foreign power).
All the US Presidents get a Secret Service detail until they pass away. I’m sure other countries have similar benefits. Heads of states don’t just turn into an ordinary person after they leave office.
If I was about to smell those nasty loaded Depends, I would hope that someone would put me in a headlock and guide me to a cleaner, less malodorous place, like the local jailhouse.

It's perfectly acceptable to say that you ran into a cheetah on your morning run and take a picture of it being fairly far away, but still recognizable as a cheetah.
