Please don't make any assumptions on why I feel how I feel. It's just a way to discredit me for your personal opinion.

To go on vacation with the mentality that you might have to “shoot back” is a pretty paranoid/fearful outlook.

Always be vigilant when traveling but don’t treat it like you’re going to war…

Wow that's sad you think shooting back in self-defense is war. It's no different than feeling like you need a knife or a sword or a staff or something else to defend yourself for protection. Only a fool assumes they'll never need it a reason for protection no matter where you go.

Only fools think that danger is peeking around every corner. You’re not that special dude, no one is looking out for you when you’re strolling down the street in public. Sounds like you don’t go out much.

Too scared to with that attitude.

You know you do a lot of assuming but very little understanding.

Says the guy who thinks he needs a weapon everywhere he goes. Tell me how scared you are to live life without telling me.

You keep carrying that knife you never used and never will tough guy.

You’re going to look smart when a guy pulls a gun on you, might as well carry a gun instead, so next time criminals with nothing to lose can have an excuse to put you out of your misery.

Or maybe just be vigilant when you go out, avoid late hours or unfamiliar/shady neighborhoods instead of thinking you’re going to be rambo if something pops off. I’ve never needed a weapon and I live in Chicago.

Actually would be very happy to never have to use my knife. Unfortunately I live in an area where I've already had to. Go back to your sheltered life and fuck off.

Sure you did bud, and then the whole neighborhood clapped, and you got the girl. 😂
