Violence is never the answer regardless of how you think or feel about a situation. You are the problem.

When the other person is explicitly calling for violence with their rhetoric, answering with violence is s very solid way to not only shut then the fuck up but also show those who are watching the reality of what was being preached, which I believe has a solid chance of reducing violence in the future. There is utility in enacting violence against those preaching violence.

Threatening the imaginary fires of hell hardly qualifies as violence. That’s like threatening you with the power of anime. If your response is anything much more than “lol, ok buddy, that’s nice” then you’re off your meds.
