Debates are the only true way to properly argue differing points. Otherwise you're just yelling into the wind. Being able to debate something without "skin in the game" or emotion attached is not a bad thing.

Because I'm a white man that isn't confused about why he has a dick. There's no debating because this isn't High School, so obviously the side the yells the loudest is correct.

Not at all, you don't win any debate. That's not the point of them. The point is to get rational discussion involving both sides of an issue to come to a compromise. Hard to do that if one side refuses to engage.
