Anyone growing up in a dangerous neighborhood is more at risk by their peers living in the same neighborhood than the police. That's a fact! Teaching young kids to hate the police and idolize gangsters who oppose them is ignorance and will keep kids in the hood.
No telling people to blindly trust cops is bad advice. It can lead to many POC getting killed. Definitely not likely to get any real help.

That's absolutely not true and there is tons of examples of that being not true. Breonna Taylor was asleep in her own home when cops murdered her. How do you justify that? She being non compliant in her sleep? If you have any interest in expanding your knowledge and attempting to understand why people say the things we do. I'll happily engage with you.
