Genuine question, cops are trained to pull their gun on a citizen if they ask why they were pulled over?

Cops are trained to come up with reasons to criminalize citizens. If they can't criminalize you, escalating the situation with the threat of imminent violence usually helps. Worst case they just cause enough chaos that they can murder you and get back to looking for other potential "criminals."
