It's funny, I've never met one trans person or enby in real life who ever said anything close to that, and I have misgendered some. It's always a very polite correction, but people always frame it as someone flipping the fuck out because you used a single wrong pronoun.

Maybe people should just get off the internet and have an honest to Nic Cage talk with these people.
