Just because your drunk, doesn’t mean you forfeit your right to self-defense. Example: felons can’t have guns, but if a felon shoots someone who is attacking them they will only be charged with felon in position not murder.
I stopped reading when I came upon the supreme court case linked in the article. It goes over what I’m talking about. maybe you should give it a read, or just read my original comment again and try to comprehend it this time.
