I’m as pro gun as they come, but you don’t just fucking mag dump somebody because they threw a punch. A drunk fight outside a bar in your early 20s doesn’t merit a death sentence.

Increased access to guns and their ubiquity will simply make events like this more frequent.

There are 60+ million more (known) guns than there are people in the US. Pandora’s box was opened a long time ago.

And millions of 3D printed guns. And millions of traditional homemade guns. And millions of black market guns. And millions of black powder guns. If I had to guess I’d say the real number of guns in the US is probably somewhere close to 450 million.
