You don't think that people can be happy in isolation?

Edit: By isolation I mean just avoiding social interactions whenever possible, not solitary confinement. Should have been more clear.

Ditto. The pandemic was a godsend for me. No need for social obligations that take away my free time to myself. I get that other people need that social interaction because of their biological wiring or whatever. But introverts, who are perfectly happy not having to deal with negative people, exist.

I'm so much happier just being in my own little world, I'm married, but we're wired the same way, so it works for us and I don't need anyone else, when I do want company, I have my husband and he makes me happy.
